Sparkling Gingersnaps

SPARKLING GINGERSNAPS
Cream together then add to dry ingredients:
2 cups sugar (1 brown, 1 white)
2 eggs
2/3 c molasses
1 ½ c shortening
Mix in separate bowl:
4 ½ c flour
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp baking pwd
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg
Roll into 1 ½" balls; roll into sugar.  Do not flatten.  Bake 325 for 8-10 min.
8 min = soft and chewy
10 min = crunchy
Makes 6 dozen
